I dont know why i am interested here, but i guess it's because when tess was on her back and had her gi in grip with an opponent pushing down, that was the time for the triangle. And then the mount the kimora was there too. Next time. Leg lock too. You need an immediate rematch. Where are you im coming to train you lol

It's all muscle memory in those positions it takes time to see those subs and take them. But good transitioning though and good position. Except the white girl (name?) Was high on the mount and could have used that for triangle or crucifix sub. Instead she got snuck out the back door.

@tessdoesjiujitsu9003 You were doing good. I was impressed with how you managed to escape the mount and Hold the mount for as long as you did. But all you need to do as get her to throw one hand up or Isolate 1 arm as soon as she has 1 arm not connected to the other and you have mount, and she can't punch you, There is no reason why you Shouldn't be able to submit her. Are you aware of the triangle choke that you could have got from the mount when you started being high on the mount. You should have gone for a triangle Or a crucifix. You did great. Next time someone escapes the back door as soon as you feel the feet in your armpits let her do it and turn quickly to take her back or do a face down arm bar or mount again. Tiring out your opponent is key as well. It took me 12 years to think fast so keep it up. Brown belt you should be able to isolate an arm from mount quickly. In mma it's harder cause we have strikes being thrown. But in bjj you should be able to sub quickly and remember to figure out your opponents dominant side and always go for their non Dom side. Always train both sides. Don't always go left or right. Be ready to do either. You can always sit low hips low in mount and stretch up for the isolation. Practice rolling into leg locks alot. Watch Ryan Hall the wizard. When you can roll and take a leg like that you'll never lose cause the leg is the easiest to attack. Knee bars too. And lastly you should always be able to escape mount if your lower back is strong. Practice holding an arch with your back and start using one leg to hold it. Hold it for 5 minutes w one leg. Once you can do that you'll be able to buck off anyone and flip them into full mount. Ask your sensei to start teaching you how to transition with subs at same time. That is eventually how you'll catch everyone.

Thanks! Yeah I know the triangle is there, but in the moment I didn’t feel confident I could get it without losing the position. But then lost the position anyways 🤷♀️ that’s one of the things I want to work on!
