Turtle needs to be given at least 1 point. As soon as people get their guard passed they immediately turn to turtle and stall out the match and prevent points being scored, in a fight turtle is a position in which the bottom person takes a lot of damage and punishment. Allowing people to turtle with no cost also makes BJJ matches more boring, IBJJF needs to change this!.

Não sei se alguém mais se apercebeu disso e se isso é trabalhado no André Galvão, agente sabe que em alto nível tem às malandragens pra conseguir alguma vantagem, às coxas do André Galvão é desproporcional às panturrilhas, logo é certo que quando vão fazer a aferição da largura da calça dele antes da luta fica normal pois é feito pela boca da calça, mas na luta quando ele dobra às pernas a calça fica curta, por causa das coxas, deu pra ver o Xande reclamando, fazendo gesto ali que não tinha calça pra pegar.

What do those numbers mean? It says 2 on top and 1 on bottom for Andre and 0 on top and 1 on bottom for Xande?

There are points and there are advantage and stalling points. The 2 is advantage +2 points and the 1 is stalling -1 point. They both got the -1 point when they were trying to take each other down. No one was really making an attempt. In the end Galvao won by +4 advantage points, which ibbjf needs to do away with, because against Xander, Galvao was never really in a dominant position. This is why ibbjf will never get very popular like ADCC.

I used to think that advantages weren't real points but Galvao clearly pushed the pace and got in on control especially turtle and he's was rewarded advantages for it. Advantages are enough to win so it's like saying you got him in turtle so you won. That's very similar to saying you get points for turtle control

Ia ser dada a vantagem pro Galvão por progressão de luta, saindo da fechada e indo pra meia. Fora que o Xande iria tomar mais pressão na meia. Quem acompanha o Xande sabe que esse jogo dele de quando o cara tá passando ir pros 4 apoios é Full eficiente, cede a vantagem mas ele se sente mais confortável a repor e inverter, porém nessa, méritos ao Galvão, excelente controle de posição.

Never got his back taken. It is called a turtle position, which is a defensive position in jiu-jitsu. You get your back taken when both hooks are put in. All Galvao got was advantage points, which IBJJF needs to reevaluate. If advantage points were not given then it forces competitors to be more offensive vs defensive vs stalling.
