Would you love to see a dead PC restored from an industrial E-Waste bin but dont have ~4 hours to watch the Vlog series? Well, heres a summary video I made to view it in 4 and a half minutes :)
...Yes there's music, pentium 4 advert music for nostolgia, but you can turn it down as there is no talking, just text. ;)
It misses a few things, like issues encountered that took time to rectify, etc etc, its just a summary of the major points.
This restoration took 3 years, 2 months and 10 hours of very part time work ;)
So I put this compilation together for a bit of fun while waiting for my new recording gear to arrive, as no point starting something new until it does. I have 15+ videos planned so there will be plenty to do!
A little backround if your still reading this, I never owned a Pentium 4 and this is officially my first Pentium 4 PC! When the Pentium 4 was released I was working in computer shops and built plenty of them but I personally chose an AMD 64 3000+ as the Pentium 4's were very expensive and ran hotter by comparison, for similar performance to the AMD's. With the exception of the very first 'Willamette' P4 cores, I was never against them - I just couldn't justify an extra $200-$300 over AMD's similar performing CPU's.
Enjoy!
No chapter view as the entire thing only goes for 00:04:29
