because once selected govt job gives assurance and stability. IT job is volatile and always changing to new technology, not everyone is ready for that.

Double salary?? Now bank clerk salary has become 43k and trust me I'm working in private sector and working since 2020 still my salary is 30k. I think u don't know the dark reality of private job brother. If u are a commerce student just to reach 45k it takes 5 years in private considering all the office politics around.

Double the salary lol😂 I'm an Engineer and 90% of my batchmates selected through campus placements had CTC 3-3.5LPA, in hand will be lesser than that. Even in private growing isn't easy even after that it's extremely hard to sustain the growth barely anyone can work after 45 in IT because of high work pressure some turn to teaching after that. My friend who earns 70k per month has Fed up and he's currently pondering to quit the job. Looks like you're still studying and know nothing about outside, I'm not saying govt jobs are heavenly preparing for them can be an excruciating process, it ultimately about the choices one makes and you've to respect the other's choices.
