I recall people in the west opposing "giving" aid, especially food aid, to African countries because they said it was designed to keep Africa down and Africans enslaved. They basically said don't give Africa food, but give Africans agricultural tools, education on how to grow food crops, and seeds. But that would have helped Africans feed themselves, wouldn't it? And that was not westerners' intention, was it? All the best with kicking out the exploiters, Africa!
