Ibrahim Traore's emotional speech on International Women's Day moved all women to tears

On the eve of the 167th International Women's Rights Day, the Transition President, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, paid an unexpected visit to the women of the Green Brigade, while they were in full swing on Thomas-Sankara Boulevard. The visit was an opportunity for the Head of State to celebrate Burkinabe women, who have been models of combativeness in their various sectors of activity.
During his visit, the President of the Transition acknowledged the plight of many women who have been displaced internally as a result of the war situation. These women have also become housekeepers due to the loss of their spouses, and in some cases, even their children and property. The President referred to these women as heroes of the nation and conveyed his message of gratitude to all the Burkinabè women who are the first to wake up and the last to go to bed.
The Head of State also commended the bravery of the women of the Green Brigade, who work tirelessly every day to clean the arteries of the capital. Through them, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE paid tribute to all the women of Burkina Faso, Africa, and the world, who are fighting for a better future and full fulfillment.
For the President of the Transition, the day dedicated to women was an opportunity to reflect on the economic emancipation of women. He highlighted the theme of community entrepreneurship, stating that efforts are being made to organize women and give them financial autonomy to continue fighting and holding homes and Burkina Faso.
The women of the Green Brigade expressed their gratitude to the President of the Transition and welcomed the multiple initiatives that have been taken to reclaim the national territory. They also requested the accompaniment of Captain Ibrahim TRAORE to improve their working conditions, which the Head of State promised to support.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
