Glad you included stuff like the guitar lines from this was my life. Honestly his skills with the melodic guitar lines, for a guy with no formal music training, are really impressive. I love the first 4 albums and all the technical speed riffs like under the last verse on rattlehead or on black Friday, but the melodic stuff from countdown and youthanasia is really unique. I haven't actually heard a band other than them that sounds like youthanasia.

Great job man, really well played. I was thinking "this guy better have Dread and the Fugitive Mind on here" and there it is. Love that song so much, in a very strong field of master piece songs, it's one of Megadeth's best. That song stands out to me for a number of reasons; it's very approachable and it has this really cool swing feel in the very bit you play from it. Dave plays that so smoothly while also singing, he really is just so good. Amazing band, with a long and glorious career.

Mustaine didn’t write those songs. The only songs he wrote for Metallica were all the riffs in their first album, and the ride The Lightning riff. I think there may have been more from ride The Lightning, but i might be wrong
