"Always check inside, maybe someone is hiding a rare rockabilly killer in this Rod Stewart picture sleeve" 🤣 (OK, that wasn't a direct quote)

I have noticed recently that most 78s have gone up in value even the ones from the swing era of the 1940s whereas not so long ago they were dirt cheap. Why is that so I wonder, it doesn’t look like there were many 78s left in stock at Josey records. Well I hope this new life works out well for you in Argentina and who knows you may find some interesting records there and if you do like any smart record hunter does, be sure to cover your tracks. Thanks again for sharing Mack.

Please keep making digging videos when you're down in ol' B.A., Mac. They help make the work day pass.

Wish I caught you before you went to Argentina. I seek stuff that is sometimes junk that you may have been looking to move on from. Any old colored wax including shellacs and etched... and kids records like voco or RGA, cereal box and flexis that have a neat look even just advertising matter if a bit flashy. Nevermind what's on the things I just love some weird pressings.

I noticed in one of the record shops, a copy of JJ Cales Troubador vinyl album from 1976 on the shelf. I have that, on 💿 cd now but I did own it on vinyl back in that year. Great album Go back and buy it.

I have my grandma and grandpa's record collection along with my mom's and mine. There's a few hundred 33's, 45's and a stack of 78's about 3 feet high. How do I go about finding out what they are worth?

Can anyone here let me know if I made a good purchase the other day? I went to a local antique store where I buy 45's and LP's and bought a Johnny Cash Sun LP, "Johnny Cash sings the songs that made him famous" for $30. Its in amazing shape and I feel/believe I made a great purchase, I was just looking for a second opinion. Now I'm off to find a Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Jody Reynolds LP

Anything by Johnny Cash if it is from the SUN years is good value.
