IC-7300 with MTU-80/40

I think IC-7300 needs a pre-selector to prevent OVF.
I tried to use YAESU MTU-80/40 mu-Tune device with FTDX5000, connecting from MTU to IC-7300.
IC-7300 Settings: 40m CW, Scope SPAN+-500kHz, Pre AMP 2.
In Japan, there were very strong signals from China and North Korea and South Korea at evening time, when ANT was connected directly, noise level was very high and sometimes occurred OVF, and I heard something strange modulations on some frequencies.
When changing connection to MTU-80/40, It was very clear and effective!

Taxa San, Please tell me how yuo connect the MTU 80/40 to if 7300? How to tune the MTU with ic7300? Thank you.

This is only temporary use, connected to ANT of IC-7300 from MTU-80/04 output connector. FTDX5000(to MTU) - MTU-80/40 - IC-7300 (ANT)
