I have to admit, it always puzzled me that pastures emit no noise, given how much actual noise those animals make whenever they're on screen! Also, one thing I was wondering: when you train military, do they then go back to work in your city or do you now have a bunch of folks who sit around all day waiting for you to go to war?

They go back to the workpool when not training but at 100% they will train most of their lives, particularily archers

You can have them wait around for a fight by assigning them to an army

@@kylemackinnon5696 Good to know, thanks. Glad I'm not going to end up with a bunch of freeloaders. :D

Kind of. They go back to the work pool when not training, but you need to be careful when taking them out to go conquer the world. You'll have dozens upon dozens of people leaving that work pool. With an army of 200 getting fully, I try to stick at a minimum 100-150 free workforce before recruiting them to the world map so all my industries don't tank while I go for other regions. Granted some simple math and looking at my training grounds/ranges would give me the exact number but w/e. You can also probably play with priorities to make this have less of a hit on you.

@@Konrow Good to know, thanks. 🧡 At this point I'm not ready to go anywhere with them - I just want them around for defence, and because it makes folks happier - but I'm sure I'll need to go off campaigning eventually.
