This video speaks to me on quite the odd level. I remember watching plenty of G1 MLP as a child, due to my love for older cartoons. I made the mistake of watching the DVD's at night, though, which became an... experience when I saw Rescue at Midnight Castle. *Something* about the style genuinely unsettled me (to be fair, though, I was six or so at the time). The presentation here really emulates that juxtaposition between the ponies having fun in an idyllic landscape, and facing brutal dangers at the potential cost of their own lives. Your song choice also darkens the mood, as well; truly, their goal is "death no more..."
