Thanks for the video. I travelled out of Aarhus in these in September-October. The noise level very much depends on where you sit. I thought they were noisy in some positions. Then on SNCF I found some cars on loco hauled trains really noisy, and other cars not so.

Great video and i think this ansaldobreda trains most quite diesel units in the world.

Not when you are inside, I could hear the engine more clear than on any other DMU I had ever traveled in. Several passengers has complained about that, so I don't know where you are getting from that they should be quiet. The noise level is around 79 Db according to an independent measuring, at some places even 95 Db. By comparison you are required to wear ear protection at 85 Db.
