@@Dempsey222 I ordered mine in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic so they really gouged me on the shipping. I think around $1000 in shipping costs. Im also Canadian and the dollar wasn't doing too great at the time so I had to pay like 30% more in inflation. Plus afterwards I ordered the thinner 3.0 wheelset which ran me another $1500 after shipping and inflation. Then I also got the Manitou mastadon pro fork, and nice saddle too. Shits expensive lol

(can't ride now its dark :-) tomorrow am early though!+ its finally cooler in AZ) Wow!! full susp fat- the Boss looks so smooth and controlled on the downhill !...now I know what to save up for!...can't wait to see what changes/up grades you feel you need and tires you end up with given the full suspension. The ride videos are just superb!.. even if you run out of content just keep the music going, great as usual!

Still riding pretty darn good for the price. We have several in our group riding them. I did crack a swing arm once. (Got it easily replaced, payed for shipping) But it’s not uncommon for me to bust my other brand bikes. That said, This bike isn’t meant for big jumps. If you are near the 200# mark, you may bottom out the rear shock. So I do run my rear shock pretty stiff to avoid that. Everyone else here has been riding them without issue. Hope this helps. Just like with any full suspension, always maintain and check your pivot points to make sure they are tight

@NewMexicoOutside3 жыл бұрын
@@mountainbiker8904 This one has a much stiffer rear end than the Lamere. He still rides both full suspension fatties. This full squish is perfect, especially recovering from an injury.

@@NewMexicoOutside right on. I'm 6' 3" hoping to fit a 170mm or longer all the way flush. If you are sure your 150 fits all the way in, I'll be confident my setup would as well. So to ask more specifically do you think your 150 can be fit fully inserted?
@NewMexicoOutside3 жыл бұрын
@@ZeroLoveTennis Pretty sure it will fit flush on the medium. Keep in mind you will probably be buzzing your butt with the 170mm that low with the fat tire and full squish.

Ok I am a little surprised. You went from a nice Ti bike to a FS fat...really? I would have just thrown a suspension fork on the Big Iron. I just find it odd given that most people have found that FS fats are just not necessary even in the most rugged of areas.
@NewMexicoOutside3 жыл бұрын
It’s not necessary. It’s like having more than one pair of shoes. It’s more of a spare bike when working on the Big Iron. And it does ride like an enduro with the added benefit of fat tires. Very smooth and light.
