When Sonic Youth was touring with Wilco back in '03 or '04, they played a show at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC where they were the opener. Despite DC's history as a city with strong punk roots, the majority of ticket holders skipped SY's performance. I'll never forget the band coming out promptly at the start of the show and opening with this before a mostly empty concert hall. SImply breathtaking.

I saw them in 03 at Bogarts in Cincinati, OH and the opened with this song but it was the 3rd time playing it live, Sonic Nurse had not even been recorded yet! it was amazing, plus right after that they ripped into Bull in the Heather!
