Being a size 11 US female, its hard to find shoes my size. The last time I got work shoes, I literally grabbed the style I liked on the women's side and went over to the men's side until I found the male version in my size. Found out I'm a men's 9 US. The only difference I saw on the shoes was the texture on the rubber band along the bottom. I've been thinking of making myself slipper style loafer shoes recently because I couldn't find another size 11 of it at the store and they don't make a male version T.T

Great video, very helpful. BUT small reminder to everyone that these mannequin feet are not what real feet look like. If you have to the opportunity to make your own shoes, why not go for something that goes with the shape of your own foot. Try Barefoot!!

Very helpful!!! can you make your own last??? i'm getting tired of not being able to find shoes!!! i want to make my own. they discriminate on size 5 and the half sizes. They are very hard to find!!!

I was going to ask the same thing but my problem is price and style instead of size. I’m considering trying to carve one from foam or using the duct tape dummy technique on my feet but I’m assuming there might be problems of sturdiness that are avoided with solid wood or plastic lasts
