3 things help with perishable foods and long travel times. 1) salt the food just before 'take off'. 2) Refrigerated backpack (bought in the orbital workshop). 3) Dropship recall beacons (workshop or crafted 2 minimum) - fill your dropship with foodstuffs + heavy items - 15 slots (food should not spoil, but check). Run using a faster mount (moa/horse depending on how much you need to carry) to the drop-off. Use the recall beacon in a clear space. When the dropship lands, transfer the perishables. Number 3 is useful in all sorts of cases.

Those pies treated with salt...And i know that the bird is much faster, probably i won't use a single piece if i travel with my old bird. The Buffalo with the cart arent that fast sadly. :( I never tried that dropship beacon. I tought it will me helping to order stuff from the station if im remote from my base and thats it. Until now i never had to carry perishables for this long (literally the other side of the world) and the space items are useless without buying repair kits all the time). Thanks the tips. :)
