you rock man this is awesome series, love the pace and all editing is great, when harvesting anything with sledgehammer, hold pick up button "F" in my case and pieces wont fly away or worse get caught in hole they grow out of under a flap of crust

Make your mount a seed cake. I think it gives your mount a stamina bonus

I do give them the seed once in a while. With the new Laica update coming, there should be new ways to feed an buff our animals hopefully!

it would be even more awesome if you'd actually used the "x5" buckshot, that way you'd save 20% of resources (although the 5% additional shell probably triggers on "craft", so you might not trigger it 7 times)

its easier to get to over 99% melee resistance with the obsidian armor set.... when you get to over 99% melee resistance you literally take no damage... your armor will take a beating but your HP will remain... i did the arctic vapor condenser horde mode twice back to back with spears and melee - no walls or spikes...

I don't usually comment but I've been binging you playlist for the last 12 hours and I can not figure out why you don't use Miasmic pickaxe on every ore available, especially titanium and other rare ones. If that doesn't work then fine but I googled and it works on them. Am I missing something?

I've said, before, that I watch a lot of Icarus content creators and I have over 1K hours in game, but I have learned so much about streamlining a character's abilities and maximizing the buffs. You da bomb!

After watching one of your videos I learned you could shovel ice fast. Apparently I got some dirt doing it. Whats it used for?

The dirt was just recently added in the latest patch. It allows you to craft dirt foundations (tech is at the right side of tier 1) as well as dirt mounts to plant things.

Make sure to keep an exotic in your inventory. I noticed when you put them away after a mining trip last episode. If you simply forgot here's a friendly reminder. If there is a reason can you explain what that is?

If you can put the exotic on your hot bar the auto deposit does not deposit items in the hot bar.

When will u finally upgrade/build your final base? Everytime i see your base it bugs me, your gameplay is nice, your tips are good, and all, but then you got that awfully boring one blocky room base v.v

He is on a fresh character, using blueprints on priorities.

@@hndsmdn Well, he's lvl 49 with 35 unused blueprint points, at the end of the video, so i don't see the argument with using them on priority things any longer, not to mention that i made a 2 story 4 room base with outside smithing area and garden + animal pens, at around lvl 32 with no blueprint points to spare grabbing the priority things. Given the base had no windows (well only window walls), no decoration, but at least it had some structure, shaping, different rooms and elevations going for it, which in my opinion goes a long way compared to a basic something by something rectangle with roof filled to the brim with workbenches all over the place and no identifieable order to the placement. in fact when he moved from his starter shack i had my hops up, as what i usually do is having a boring starter base, and use it to atleast already build the main base in a way that looks good and feels like a place to call home, even if i don't have the decorations for it yet.

@@dannyrothko wasn't meant to be offensive or anything, it's just the only thing bothering me pretty much since you moved onto the island. As i said i enjoyed your videos so far but everytime i see that base it bugs me, as it's only a bit ressource gathering and time spend to get a nice looking not rectangular single room base done, wouldn't even matter if there weren't any decorations as they don't take priority, but having like a kitchen with kitchen stuff, a workshop room for the workstations, a bedroom and maybe a living room already goes a long way and isn't really that much efford to make.

Nice work ! A small note about attack/mining speed : one can get the corresponding buff from dried stringy meat also, so you can have a +40% resource-specific enhancement on your tool (gold, platinium or titanium) + the speed buff at the same time if you're on a mining tour for one of these three

I'm going to jump in the lava, hold my drink. You can use about 5 ramps by J6 intersection. direct approach as is probably saves you travel time.

@@dannyrothko You do it right imo, not cutting everything but shows a few nodes while telling your plan then cuts to the end of mining session and gets on with the plan. Only "bad" think is that i have to wait for another episode. 😀
