How exactly did the devs really show up for this content…. lol the dlc released almost a year late with alien models and content that was in the beta trailers but then left out of initial launch. And charged more than a majority of the community paid for the base game for the content they baited everyone with in the trailers almost two years ago but yeah keep stroking em

I’m a new Icarus player that just got the expansion bc of steams sale that went on a few weeks ago, thank you for this video. This was very informative and awesome to have before landing into Prometheus🖤 I’ve only done open world mode though. I absolutely love the mechanics with the base game I also hit lvl 60 I decided to get the frontiers pack to further my little silly adventures.

Do I also get the mission rewards in the open world? Where is a good place to build an open world base ? Thx guy

Yeah you get missions rewards on completion of the mission. Depends on your skill level is you want the easiest of starts go grasslands, I wouldn't recommend the lava biome straight away the swamp is a nice challenge.

So if I understand what you said, you can summon gear on the station via drop pod, correct? And if so... can you send gear back up?

Yup you surely can aslong as it's workshop gear only.

We dropped down with workshop tools other than that once they're gone we'll craft new stuff

You stated you can't get red exotics on open world. Does that include doing missions while on open world? Or only mining it from the environment?

From what I've been told you can't get them on open world at all for now

I Hate the colored fog for each area an obvious slapped on effect to make it feel more alien without doing new textures feels terrible at launch

@@xzxxx-km4vy can you name a single game that has 100% realistic features please name a game that someone couldnt find something to say "this makes no sense in the game" if you look hard enough every game has something that doesnt make sense or isnt realistic i mean its a game it doesnt have to 100% simulate real life. just play it an enjoy it or dont. are you mad that the axe breaks in 10 minutes when it would last years in real life no. if i shoot rabbit with rifle would there be any rabbit left in real life no, could i grow crops from seed to fully grown in hours no. its a game to be honest if everything was 100% realistic most wouldnt even want to play it we dont have months to grow food or months to heal from animal attack naw we want to play the "game" not pretend its real life and spend days or weeks smelting ore and forging weapons, i dont need to hammer nails into the wall to enjoy building or need the game to only let me carry realistic amount of carry weight i mean come on man you really want a game like that? you may enjoy that but i guarantee most would hate the idea of that
