Thanks for the effort on this one. The flamethrower is cool but not strong enough to use as a primary weapon. The wood deep veins are almost useless as currently implemented. I feel like I could run back to the forest and chop 100x stacks of wood before the drill dug up 5 pieces and subsequently melting them. lol. I'm sure they'll make some tweaks though.

Idk I don’t feel like they were that bad tbh but requires the currency from the dlc I feel like that was their compromise. Hopefully we have more uses with the flamethrower later “wink”

The flamethrower is garbage. Short range + Low damage. It should have a much longer range and a stacking dot. At first the dps is low, but every second an dot should be added so after several seconds the health starts to melt. Also, animals on fire should probably run away. I hope the assault rifle (whenever that comes out) is much better.

Hey I haven't played in a bit but logging in a few of my deployables no longer work. Rain barrels don't seem to gain water consuming ice. And my plumbed sink no longer gives the buff. Do you have any of these issues?

Yep sometimes the networks bug, you have to pickup and rewire the devices that seems to work Sometimes making a new item is the only fix. =(

You just need to unlock it in the tech tree then craft it. It’s for all maps.

@@LateNightStream I found out why the flamethrower wasn't displayed for me. I had the Easy Mode mod installed and it completely removed the flamethrower from the tech tree. anyway, thank you for your help

How to actually craft this? Cos everytime I try i need biofuel. Like where to get that idk? I have biofuel stove that uses fuel tanks.

At the machining bench you put a can of biofuel and the mats in the bench and then craft it it will use half the can of fuel if its full. It can be refilled at the composter or large biofuel barrels.

You know I didn’t try it on bees that would be great! But I think at this time they just take melee damage. I don’t know if it’s considered that type of damage.

yet another thing someone influencing development says... "wouldn't it be cool if..." and the devs do it. There was literally zero need for a flame thrower novelty item. It is a waste of development time. Time that could have been spent on what we really need....real performance improvements! yeah no difference on my bases either. None that I could tell.

My guess is that the flamethrower will be used later on, with the next big update. And I didn’t see the optimizations either.
