I call it a brain transplant. If you have two of the same phones and one is destroyed or icloud or bad esn since you didnt pay your bill or nobody came to pickup their phone you can also swap the brain from one into the other and they will work great without taking every other component apart. Totally agree with you. I still don’t get why people are reluctant to protect the back and front of a phone that is literally worth over a thousand dollars and will cost several hundred dollars to be fully repaired. It’s a no brainer and long time investment to pay $30-50 for good protection, then again people will complain that it’s too bulky or ruins the phone’s design, but good phone cases nowadays are designed to be both esthetic/transparent and resistant
