न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, टीम इंडिया चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के लिए पाकिस्तान का दौरा नहीं करेगी. बीसीसीआई आईसीसी से उनके मैच दुबई या श्रीलंका में आयोजित करने के लिए बात करेगी. हालांकि, PCB के शेड्यूल के हिसाब से 2025 आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में 1 मार्च को लाहौर में भारत और पाकिस्तान का मैच खेला जाना है. हालांकि, BCCI ने कभी भी इस पर सहमित नहीं जताई.
