Why are we comparing with a india? Population 1.45 b and more critically, cricket budget of BCCI 7 b USD! Yes this makes a difference to develop cricket at grass roots. However, the biggest reason in my opinion which no experts like you have covered in detail is the impact of IPL on not only Indian cricket but all cricketers who,participate in ipl, like afghans, Australians, New Zealand, South African have all benefited hugely…not only financial reward but gaining valuable experience and gaining confidence ….ONLY PAKISTANIS DONT PARTICIPATE IN IPL AND THEY HAVE SUFFERED AS RESULT….THAT SAID DEPITS ALL THE DISADVANTAGES THEY HAVE NIT DONE BADLY HAVE THEY…Pakistan experts and public are very dumb sadly.

Pak cricket not progressing have multifaceted causes. Islamisation of pak cricket in late 80s. Pak cricketers stress more on religion than on profession they have taken. Pak cricketers give more time in converting others than preparing for opponent Just look at deep hatred in pak cricketers, be it current or ex pak cricketers are full of towards Hindus, Bharat or non muslims. Pakistan (PCB) is the 4th richest board after BCCI, CA (Australia) and ECB. Bangladesh comes fifth and South Africa only comes 6th. I don't think there is any big talent difference between India and Pakistan. If anything Pakistan has more youngsters wanting to bowl fast. I heard a youtube video where someone said that difference between IPL and PSL is that PSL always has at least one player bowling at 150. Don't you think the administrators of PCB and Bangladesh is more responsible for the downfall of the team than the players? Raw talent aside players do require coaching and nurturing to achieve their potential. In an environment where administrators are only trying to make quick bucks and blaming players like Babar who has come up in-spite of the system being against them is so sad. If anyone needs to take the blame for Pakistan cricket being bad it is the Administrators and not the players who are always blamed. Even Azam Khan who was the poster boy of what is wrong with the system was just doing what he was supposed to. If he was in the team in-spite of being unfit isn't the Administrators to blame more than him?
