They forgot that Virender Sehwag hit Shafiul Islam for a boundary on the very first ball of the 2011 Cricket World Cup tournament. He went on to make 175 at what was to be thought a low-scoring pitch at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur despite Bangladesh winning the toss and electing to bowl first. Young Virat Kohli made a century too and India racked up a huge total which India defended successfully.

One day bilateral should be limited to almost zero in non world cup years like football. And before one year all teams should schedule 50 overs cricket and then play 50 over wc. T20 and Tests must be given more focus as these two formats are very contrasting yet very interesting🤗🤗. Two bouncers must be allowed in t20 to make it more for bowlers.

The greatest nightmare of Indian cricket history. Terrific win against INDIA (chors). Those shots from Tamim, Classy knocks from Mushi & Shakib. Super bowling from Mash & Razzak. What a day it was! I still could remember the day I was 8 then. We had a SONY TV (Japanese). We along with my cousins, uncles and some neighbours enjoyed the match together...how those days were aah! Nostalgia! AFTER 1999 against Pakistan it is the best upset of all time in the history of cricket WC for Bangladesh cricket. INDIA was out of the world cup that 2007 cricket WC. They just managed to win against Bermuda whereas Bangladesh & Sri Lanka got 4 points and qualified for Super 8. From that day India never lost any match against Bangladesh in CWC.
