Sal and Q are big wrestling fans, so it's a no-brainer for them to have any wrestler on, and it works great in an improvisational setting like Impractical Jokers. Also, the show is under the same broadcasting umbrella as AEW, which may be why wrestlers have been popping up more recently, like Jericho or MJF.

I love this show it's so fun and unharmful but it really has been so lackluster and small and insignificant to be honest since Joe's left not just because Joe's gone but the episodes have nearly met the standard or time length or laughs or anything I can think of to compare it to any older impractical Jokers episode it seems like they're doing way less and only having one challenge per episode it's kind of lame
