a better one for starters is a wooden coaster that doesn’t have the same intensity though. this would be the coaster you’d go on after you’ve already been exposed to what you’re getting yourself into because a wooden coaster would be literally nothing compared to this

@@richkarter1916 I'm not sure about that. The last wooden roller coaster I rode made me never want to get on another Rollercoaster again. It was the boss at 6 flags St.Louis. it felt like 2 minute car wreck and I got off hurting so badly. There were people around me I didn't know that ride it often and said they've never felt it that rough. If I didn't know how smooth and nice the newer bigger steel coasters were already I wouldn't give em chance. Luckily I rode the steel ones with loops and high speeds first. That boss was the single worst ride I've ever been on and they couldn't pay me to do it again. I can still feel it a week later. I think the mine trains are a good start and then probably the crazy mouse ones that have a lot of switch backs and no inverted loops. Once you've conquered those you'll probably want to skip icebreaker and go straight for the best ones. Icebreaker looks like a nice smooth ride tho.

@@ParaRob i’ve never gotten on a wooden coaster that was that rough. rickety, yes, but they’re old, and the really fast steel ones just make me feel seasick. at least the wooden coasters feel like a car ride, those steel ones feel like a wholeass boat and the loops and barrel rolls dont help. i can do corkscrews, cuz those are just sideways spirals and much easier to prepare for

@@ParaRob the boss hurts so bad every damn time. I have to agree with you. The newer rides are more smooth. My brother is new to coasters and I take him on the bigger rides because the wooden ones are traumatizing

@@KaitlynPickering I think that's your best bet! Even tho the newer bigger ones go faster and go upside down, they are so much smoother and you don't get off trembling from genuine fear of being hurt you get off excited and amazed. There's a huge difference there. My niece is close to being tall enough and I definitely won't be taking her on a wooden coaster first. I don't think she'd ever want trust me to get on another coaster. The Boss was even more painful in the dark cuz you couldn't brace yourself for an upcoming turn so it made the whiplash effect even worse! I went on the new coaster at Holiday World in Indiana and it was the smoothest coaster I've ever been on. It was so much fun and fast with loops but you didn't get banged around at all. If you have a chance to go there I highly suggest it! They have free soda all through the park and the Waterpark has amazing water coasters. Their wooden coasters aren't super painful either which actually surprised me. I enjoyed riding them there. It's pretty reasonable as far as price goes throughout the whole place. Parking is free and there's a campground right next to it that has cabins for rent and they rent golf carts that people decorate and drive around during holidays or just on a random weekend. It's a great time and so much less expensive than 6 flags. I try to suggest it to anyone that's around St Louis area. It's not a crazy long drive. (5 or 6 hours I think) it's totally worth checking out. The free soda, sunscreen, and parking alone makes up for gas money to get there. Definitely gotta go for 2 days so you can enjoy the Waterpark. They've got multiple wave pools and the best slides. Just awesome! Your brother would definitely enjoy going there. There's so much to do!

It's not the intensity or height that's bad. It's the way the ride literally hurts you. It's a mini version of Mako practically and Mako doesn't hurt nearly as bad.

Icebreaker is at my home park Seaworld Orlando and it is one of the best roller coasters to introduce kids to ejector airtime every time I go on it I have a great time I will rate icebreaker a 7/10

At Busch Gardens a few years ago, my brother and I were trying to pluck up the courage to go on two coasters...Montu and Kumba. We were terrified and had never been on a coaster with loops and corkscrews before. However, there were two little coasters named Python and Scorpion. One had a single loop and the other had a single corkscrew. This one looks like an intermediate challenge...ideal for the more fearful riders. And yes, we did ride Montu and Kumba...which are probably long gone now.

I would like to go on this ride, it’s not too intense but it’s still fun. I went to sea world not too long ago for the first time (that I remember) and the only 2 rollercoasters I went on was the manta and the mako. I was gonna cry when me and my cousin were boarding the ride but I actually liked it. The mako, I WAS PANICKING! THE MAKO IS SO SCARY LIKE WTH (would go on for a second time though) I think I didn’t get to enjoy the mako cause I was to worried about falling off lol.

I am a passholder and we ride this one at least once every time we go to the park. It may look deceiving from the video, but it’s actually a little more intense than people make it out to be. At least for me. Still a great ride though I like it. because the harness is a strap instead of actual metal bars, it makes it feel like you’re actually gonna go flying off the ride.

I had so much fun on this ride! I want to be honest, though.. this ride is NOT plus size friendly at all! It's very tight, even for guests who aren't plus-size. It's a little tough getting in & out, but once you're on it's so much fun! It's just a little snug. 😊
