Question: How are you supposed to access those 3 bolts once the decking is screwed on and the walls are on? Also how come there's no fender backs on the fenders?

I'd like one. I understand Minard's Leisure World, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada sells these. Is there any need for a weight distributing hitch? If so, how would I mount the bars? I was researching different models and even the 17 footers are over 5000 pounds.

We recently added the ability to do a sway control hitch. There is really only one bracket on the market that fits ice castle frames, but the e2 sway control system fits on it. I would recommend calling us and asking the service center about the tech info. We have installed about 12 of these in the last year and customers love them. I would say most are on 21ft+ units on smaller vehicles.

@@SmokeyHills Thanks for the link. I have a hitch on my truck that's designed to take 10,000 lbs, although the truck can only tow 8100, but that's beside the point. I used to own a 19 foot Nomad travel trailer and used a weight distribution hitch receiver to tow it, since that trailer was 5900 lbs and they recommend anything above 5000 lbs that a weight distribution be used. Otherwise you'll just tear the hitch off the frame. I sold the trailer years ago, but still have the receiver and bars. It didn't come with a sway control, but I'm not really worried about that. I also just found out recently, that there's a dealership in North Battleford, called Freedom RV, that also sells Ice Castles. I probably wouldn't go to them though. That's a 6 hour drive NW of Moose Jaw. I'll just stick with Minard's Leisure World, since they're only an hour SE and consider ordering one, since they finance, plus I'd get mine custom made, as I'd want to use it for camping, not just ice fishing. One thing I've wondered for a while, after watching many video tours of these Ice Castles, is why motorhomes don't have the dinettes in the back like these do. Would make more sense than having it on the side, where it just takes up more space, plus then they could have an extra bunk. Would be especially convenient on the smaller units.

There are different coatings, depending on the frame manufacturer. This frame has a product similar to a spray on bed liner in a truck.
