They did accept her. She just wanted to study abroad as a transfer student and is currently taking a break from being an idol and ended her contract with Amuse.

Does idol group popularity tend to significantly eclipse solo idol popularity in Japan? If so, that might explain it a bit. Maybe she'll go for a more international direction in her music career after she's done studying. :)
