It looks like a dessert from my childhood that was called a Vienetta Cake. It was marketed by Pepperidge Farms and was delicious! My Mom got me one every Saturday and I would share it with my Grandmother as we watched The Golden Girls(like when it legit aired)❤️. I slept over every Saturday night with her. I lost her and my Paternal Grandmother on Mother’s Day 2015. They passed 6 hours apart😔. They’ve stopped selling them years ago, so this is so nostalgic for me💕 Thanks Eri!

I don't think I ever imagined crying watching an ASMR video until I saw this Eri, your grandmother's story definitely moved me deeply. I have similar feelings because my grandmother also usually communicates with my mother through dreams and the feeling is something inexplicable. I'm pretty sure this is one of the videos that I have enjoyed the most and without a doubt one of the most emotional as well. I never thought I would be crying my eyes out in a eating video. 2 months ago my grandfather passed and it is really hard for me to accept it, he was an incredible grandpa and person, very loving and very selfless. I dream about him as well but things are not the same anymore.

Omg eri i loved this video so much. I had a similar situation about my grandma. Back in the late 90s. I was a freshman in high school. So, we had moved my grandma into a care place. It was like a hospital. That day when were there saying good by to her. We knew it was probably gonna happen any day. My grandma hasn't said anything for ages. Cause she was kind of in a coma. But when i leaned in and kissed my grandma and say goodbye and love u. She said the same thing to me. Very quietly. Anyway, my mom and i went home. My dad and my aunt stayed. By that night when i was in bed. Right before my dad pulled in our driveway. I sware guys, i was asleep but not quite out of no where i here my grandmas voice clear as day saying good by darby i love u. I got up so fast and ran to mom dad got home about that same time. I asked if grandma is gone they said yes. Cause i told them what just happend. They thought i blew smoke up their butts. But i still remember it now its been like 30 years almost.i literally almost cried when u mentioned this about your grandma. I miss your stories so much. I know your grandma is and always will be with u.

I totally understand Eri. My puppy who was not with me anymore visited one day in my dreams, I remember being so sad but happy because I was playing with her in my childhood room with her, I held her for a long long time in my arms and I hugged her, I immediately knew she was saying goodbye. I woke up feeling empty and extremely sad. She was staying in the house of some persons bc I couldn’t take care of her because I can’t have her where I live, so the next morning I texted them asking if she was fine and they told me she had passed away in the night, right when she said goodbye. At this point of my life I still dream with her, we play, and have fun, and believe it or not I can feel her presence sometimes, she is still connected to me and I miss her

I'm very close with mine as well and she just got diagnosed with cancer again. I don't know how much time we have left together. It’s almost like a flashback that I had when you told the story. My great grandma died 4 years ago it it was the worst day of my life. She was in the hospital already and we never were allowed to visit her. Not even my mother. And the day of her death was a cold night. The hospital called my mother and all I heard from her room was a loud scream. I knew instantly that my great grandmother died and I never stoped crying. I wished that I could dream of her and I pray to god constantly to let her touch me once ao I can feel her presence. But that’s never enough for me. I’m 13 now and my great grandmother had become 82. A nice age 😢

I'm so jealous you have Veinetta!! We haven't had that in stores where I live in Canada for a long time. At least I haven't seen it! My daughter loved it. She passed away almost two years ago sadly, but this cake is something that totally reminds me of her. I’m so sorry about your grandma. But how amazing is it you got to say goodbye in your dream? I always see my loved ones in my dreams after they’ve passed on; my Dad, Mom and Nanny, but my daughter took forever to visit in my dreams, but thankfully she did. I was honestly afraid she’d never come!!! She died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism at 32 years of age. My heart is forever broken and a piece of me will be eternally missing. But those dreams, as far and few between as they may be, are definitely a treat where I get to be with her again, for however long my dream lasts.

I absolutely resonate with you. I was a bit more superstitious, but one day when my grandfather was sick with cancer I was at an art exposition and suddenly fell my heart ache and my stomach sink in a way I had never felt before. I felt pain and an urge to cry my soul out. Later that night my mom explained that my grandad fell so sick he was on the verge of death and was basically resuscitated. He passed a few months later unfortunately

In Australia we have something quite similar called Viennetta, not as long as that, I wish lol was half the size of that one when I was a kid but now has gotten a bit smaller since then, and just as yummy but pricey
