I think the marinara sorbet qualifies as having stumped her. it's weird because she could just have used tomato with basil and olive oil and it probably would've have been delicious and suggestive of pasta sauce. all those are flavors that can be integrated with sweetness. the oregano and garlic and the other flavorings in the marinara were probably what ruined it, unfortunately because they're really not essential.

In germany we actually have something called spaghetti ice cream. But it's only about the look. It's vanilla ice cream pressed through a spatzle press to make it look like spaghetti, then topped with strawberry sauce and coconut flakes. Also there is some frozen whipped cream in the inside.
