Omg your Fractal “gift of tone preset” is killer!! I think my neighbours have left home since I cranked it up today! Seriously I love the recto sound on the latest firmware 6 update. This is such a good Van Halen track, we used to cover this in the band a good years back.

Sounds amazing Mark! I have tried a bunch of presets and this is the first one that sounded like what was expected. I tried breaking it down to see what made the biggest difference and it seems the two reverbs are the real trick. If you have time I would love to hear about your thoughts on each block in the chain.

Love it, brother! Man, I tried to learn that solo the right way, but I never got past the first lick because my finger bones just would. not. stretch. that far! One day, I'll go back & trying again and just tap the intro instead (I know, cheating, but it's that or have the tendons in my hand cut and extended! :o ). Love to see how much fun you have wailing on the guitar, man!

Mark. Quick question. What position do you have your OUT1 set to on the AXE itself? Just want to compare volume levels with my setup. Mine is at around 10 o'clock and this preset is really quiet compared to my other presets. Do you run at high volume out1 level?

Hi Barry, my OUT 1 Level on the front panel is about 9 o'clock set at +4db in the I/O menu. This is a good level for "my" Audio Interface (Roland Octa-Capture) and our band's FOH and monitor mixers.

The only videos I've ever done that were pulled are Hotel California (Eagles) and Flying High Again (Ozzy). They just add their own ads to the videos that have copyright stuff.

@@samhillband That's cool. The matrix clearly like you. It's all about the algorithm and if it chooses to support you or work against you. I can post some really good content and maybe get 5 comments on average. Meanwhile others can post something not nearly as good and get 100+ comments. I am sick of this unfair treatment. I know many authors who stopped posting on various sites for this reason. The matrix is biased. With regards to music, again, I am glad it likes you today. It is clearly not as forgiving to many others who even post short clips. Some are as short as 10 seconds and it is the YTber playing the songs and still it gets demonetized e.g., this recently happened to Rick Beato and he talks about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGSxn6WNp9B-kK8&ab_channel=RickBeato
