Here's an ice cream truck story from my younger days. We had two ice cream trucks in town, one was a large, blue box shaped van, decorated with all sorts of stickers. He played the typical music and had the best selection of ice cream, he even sold candy for about 5 cents each. Well that ice cream man had the hots for my mother, so he would often give me free ice cream if my mother stepped up the window.She had no interest in him, but he sure tried. Now the second truck was quite different. It was basically a pickup truck with a white refrigerated box on the back, the interesting thing was that he did not play the typical ice cream chime music, he had a large public address speaker mounted on the roof and played heavy metal. They guy's name was Uncle Ozzy, he was well known in town, especially with the teenagers. The reason he was so popular was not because of the music he played but the drugs he sold out of the truck, which explains why he usually only had frozen popcicles and ice cream bars and usually didn't stop if he saw young kids walking around. He wanted the teenager''s business instead. Years later, Uncle Ozzy disappeared and people wondered where he went, well, he got about 20 years in prison. Ha! We only have one ice cream truck in town now, it's drove by some old lady who buys he ice cream from the local grocery store, she usually runs her van from March to November, I kind of feel bad for her because the kids these days don't swarm the trucks like they did years ago.

Lol; would have been but one of them was freaking creepy. It was literally a truck like the green one in this video, but way bigger, and it would have been all white if they hadn't decorated it using spray paint. It played I've Been Working On The Railroad. I have never heard a different ice cream truck play it. I only saw someone order from it twice. Neither time did I see them walk away with their ice cream. I don't even know if it had a menu or anything; I only ever saw one side of it. It came at about 8 PM. The few times it did come in the afternoon, I swear I saw kids running *inside.* Everyone stayed away from it, as far as I know. It stayed for about 6 months. Me and my mom saw it every time we went to the bus stop. It was a corner house next to an empty lot where the stray cats hunted. One day it didn't come. The next time we went to the grocery store, the truck wasn't there, or any cars, for that matter. We never saw it again. But the song will forever be stuck in my head. We can only assume it was a pedophile, kidnapper, drug dealer, murderer, or all of those things. It's a neighborhood mystery that might never be solved. As for the other ice cream truck, the driver's very nice. The truck actually looks and sounds normal. And it's still here to this day, just much less. Probably too many people called for noise disturbance.
