Chris Tucker needs to come back. I know hes said he doesnt want to promote smoking, but this movie can be a look into these characters lives as theyve evolved over the years. Smokey couldve quit drugs and now a change man. Include a teachable moment that made the first special, maybe somehow connecting it to what pops said about living to see another day. Have everyone back if possible. And ultimately make this a celebration and dedicated it to the ones who passed along the way.

Honestly, Last Friday should have came out in the 2010s and the same thing can be said about White Chicks 2. Seriously if it takes THIS LONG for a sequel (10 years+) don't even bother because it's almost always never as good as the last one. The only exception I can think of is MiB 3 but a lot of people didn't like MiB 2 so 🤷🏾‍♂️

Ice Cube could have done a crowdfunding campaign A Long Time ago and presented the campaign to fans. He would have accumulated the funds needed to get the movie made. Then, he could have presented the finished product to any of the streaming platforms for distribution and viewership.
