I've recently found your channel, and watched several winter camping videos. I have never done this type of camping. I love how you show the details of how things are done for traveling and camping.

Hey Richard, I was very happy to finally have some success at ice fishing in Quetico, after getting skunked last winter. Lucy loved being out there with me. Thanks for watching!

Almost missed part 2! Fantastic video! I like the way you did the video. I almost felt I was there! I was curious about how the powdered eggs turned out? It was great to see how the rest of the dried food turned out! Your ability to film the beauty of the outdoors was awesome. Lucy added to the journey and made the trip a joy to watch as she blended in with the both of you! Thanks as usual for both of you sharing this adventure! I'm looking forward to your next video! Hey Rick! Glad you were able to catch it. There's going to be one more part coming soon. The powdered eggs turn out well every time, that brand is pretty good. Happy to hear Lucy has made an interesting addition to the videos, we love seeing how happy she is out there. As always, thanks for watching I really appreciate your continued support!

Hey guys! Thanks for checking out the video. I was so pumped to finally catch some fish in Quetico. We've been moving the last couple months so its been a slow start to canoe season so far...but we're getting ready for a big trip this month! Hope you're both doing well and getting out there.

Nice video Alec. -25C the one morning, burrrrr, that must make it tough to get up and at 'em, you two are hardy. Beautiful sunset shot the one evening, winter sunsets seem different out there in the bush, a treat to view for sure. Lisa mentioned Paige could highlight her side of the meal plan for the vegan fans out there. Thanks for making the time and effort to take us viewers along. Keep adventuring!

Hey Ian! Ya -25 felt chilly after many days of mild temperatures. The last part of this trip is coming soon and we had a couple mornings of -30/-40 temps. Sunsets on a frozen lake are pretty spectacular, you're right. Tell Lisa that's a good idea, we always appreciate the feedback and suggestions on what more we could share with everyone. Always happy to share and thanks for continuing to support the channel!

Looked like a fun relaxing trip. I’m more than a little jealous of the amount of free time you have for a trip like that but at least I can live vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing!

Ya, itt was a more chill trip than we're used to, didn't want to over do it for Lucy. It worked out very well, the hardest part was the portage at the beginning. Working seasonal jobs has its perks sometimes, we feel grateful to be able to do big trips in the winter and we're happy to share that with you guys. Thanks for supporting my videos!

It sure was, I always come out any trip feeling refreshed but even more so after the long ones. I love fishing, and it made me very happy to have some success. Lucy has grown a lot, she's around 65lbs we're thinking she won't get much bigger now, but we'll see she's only 11 months! Thanks for watching!

Great fishing! It's good to know the braid worked well for you, I had heard it would freeze but I guess not. Have you ever tried one of those disposable foam manicure files as a sharpener? It's insane how well they work and what they weigh.

Hey Liam, ya braided line definitely helped and I didn't have any issues with it. I've never heard of that hack for sharpening my tools but I'll try it. It would save a ton on weight! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching.

Another great trip video. 😊 I use Nido (made by Nestles) whole milk powder. I get it at Walmart (I’m in the US) in the baby/child section or in the Hispanic foods section.

Hey Alan! Thanks for tuning into another video, I really appreciate it. I've heard that before about Walmart in the States having Nestle milk powder...unfortunately our Canadian stores don't carry it, that I know of. I will check the baby section next time though.

I have heard eggs do not rehydrate well at all. There is a product called ova easy egg crystals that people highly recommend. I would check out Kevin Outdoors channel and check out his take on this topic . Where did you get your mukluks. What is the make ? Would you recommend them? Really enjoying your content.

Hey Tom, the brand of eggs we we're using turn out pretty well. I wouldn't say they come back to normal, but they taste good! I've checked out some of Kevin's stuff, I'll take a look. Our Mukluks are from Steger, they are the Artic model. We would highly recommend them, they've been amazing so far. Very warm, comfortable, breathable, nothing bad about them. Thanks for supporting the channel!
