Pretty typical of brookies! I live in the brookie harbinger (Maine) and I’m no stranger to them at all, they are our state fish and a prize to catch. My pb is 16.5” but we have 7 pounders so I have a long ways to go! My advice for brookies: they are very smart and shy, don’t make a sound and don’t make sudden movements. They’re a custom to not being at the top of the food chain so treat them as such. I wish you the best of luck and take good care of our state fish! 😁

That underwater footage is so cool! Congratulations on the PB. I caught a 27” Rainbow with my dad as a 15 year old kid. Been chasing that fish ever since. I have yet to beat it... 17 years of fishing later.

Will all depend on water clarity, you have to fool around with where it works the best. I use the downward angle the most. I run all default settings for the aqua vu.

Clayton, my go to guy for hard water !! Will fish avoid an area where you have a dead bait (sardine) down a hole ?? I had a dead bait in one of my holes I. My hut, was jugging everything in another and was not marking any fish. As soon as pulled the dead bait in the morning it seemed fish started coming around my hut.

Clayton love the vids. Love the info. How deep did u catch that rainbow at? Been fishing Constance with splake and rainbows and struggle to get bites. We setup with all the other shacks shallow. (Approx 7ft). like you did we see lots on the camera. Should we try deeper?? Thanks man!!!

I know with that lake you want to be there really EARLY in the morning and fish shallow, other than that I do not know much about it :) Stocked trout can be very spooky at times.
