Glad we're getting some good ice this year! Gonna be going up the end of January/early February out in Cadillac. Probably catch a bigger buzz than any fish but after last year's lack of ice I'll take it!

It was a fun day. When I say not a shanty lake I mean because the fish schools are concentrated in an area suspended and are constantly moving. I prefer to hole hop those locations to stay on the fish. If I set up a shanty when the fish moved, which is usually after a catch or two, it can be a while before they make it back around to that area again

Thanks for the video. I taget fish the same way. I have a solid lake saint clair report from yesterday. 3.5 inches on the north end caught 25 9-12" perch. Saginaw bay has been producing perch too but i have not been there.
