@@KitDBaiting you as well...headed to sturgeon lake outside of valleyview tomorrow...pike,walleye,perch.. .crossing my fingers...got skunked on Sunday on cache lake outside hinton for first time in ten trips...if you make it up this way good pike/whitefish in this lake (open till March 31st)...guessing best fishing going to be around end of February till close up.....message me if you interested...good luck and keep vids coming....Darren

I like to setup a quick strike rig. If you watch Other lake trout videos they catch some monsters by laying the bait on bottom. Some times they don’t want to chase. Great second rod option. I like a full anchovie two sharp trebles.
