@@adamhomb6012 a meal lol , I had people in the boat with me that wanted to take fish home too . Depleted that’s insane our lake is loaded I’ve brought home over 3,000 this year if that makes you feel bettter . I keep my freezer full, and I donate to friends when they want to cook for the church congregation or if a local friend or person is trying to do a benefit fundraiser an they know I have fish an ask me . I’ll donate fish to them to cook for raising money for kids sports or a illness etc.

Dude.. You guys are fishing 27 feet and letting them go?! You are literally killing every fish you bring up from the bottom, literally somewhere in the neighborhood of 95% of them. How are you not aware of this? Unreal, teaching others to eliminate these schools..

Check out Uncut Angling’s newest video where he further explains how the swim bladders work as the fish descend on the water column and successfully releases 12 of 12 fish caught out of 34-37’. The Angling Buzz video recently was very poor “science.”

I loved watching these guys…until this episode…you say you’d never keep a fish of that size but you’ll throw it back with clear signs of barotrauma? You guys clearly give zero shits about the resource..or know nothing about the fish you’re chasing…sad

We appreciate you watching. We are aware of barotrauma and talk about it in other episodes. First, if you keep a fish, you 100% kill it. If you release it, it has a chance. Most of the fish we caught had zero signs of it. We try to keep up on research and be aware; there is a recent study that talks about fish with barotrauma from basins under 30 feet that have a good chance of recovery. Some fish experience it in 22 fow, there are a lot of factors that go into it. We try our best to respect the resource and educate people, but it's a balancing act from standing on our soap box and preaching to educating people where they listen.
