You should check out Haat ice fishing rods. They are the crème de creme and can do anything from panfish to Lake Michigan 25 pound lake trout.

The little Nasci is an OK reel, so is the new 2022 Sahara 500. I am upgrading to 2022 Soare BB 500 I should get it Monday..... an excellent Budget UL Rod is 13 Defy Silver ..

Do you find any issues with lockup or freeze up with using conventional reels vs an ice specific real. Honest question i I use ice reels but have all of those same reels as well but have them one other specific application rigs. Just a conversation starter.
