Ice Fishing the Slush Monster at Strawberry Reservoir

The winter of 2023 has been huge in terms of snowfall. While that's great for runoff and filling Utah's reservoirs, it's not so good for ice fishing. Why? Because all that snow creates the dreaded "slush monster." In big snow years, Strawberry Reservoir is notorious for deep slush, but it's still possible to ice fish. You just need good waterproof boots, good machines, and an intrepid spirit. In this episode, we conquer the slush monster with the guides at Strawberry Bay Marina and our efforts are rewarded with fast fishing and big trout.

Cool episode. That shuttle service seems great. As someone who has only fished Strawberry at the easy to access places and never caught many fish, I'll be using the shuttle service next time. Decent price for the service as well.
