This time around my friends Tam and Butter Outdoors and I plow through snowy roads in search of the only campsite next to the reservoir. We find it! On the side of the road.. We spent one epic night at this roadside winter camp oasis with good conversation, good drinks, and the most amazing camp food! I'm happy to share these moments with all who see it. Thank you! This is Ice house area actually. We parked right next to the reservoir. In the summer there’s a kids camp there and it get super busy from what I hear.

It’s up in the Pollock Pines area before Tahoe. This road is closed atm but in the summer it’s open and leads to a summer camp.
