Didn’t see an email, but You videos are presented very well. I’m 71 and struggle with (everything-haha) putting straight. Do you have any recommendations for for putter settings? Also, is our body alignment connected to straight shots? I can’t help wondering if the headset camera view is tied into the direction the ball goes. Thnx for any suggestions.

Thank you. I try. I don't remember mentioning an email in the video. Do you know when that was and what I was referencing? No, the headset orientation doesn't have any effect on the ball going in any direction. It's not just you at all. Putting straight consistently is hard and takes practice. That's really what it is, practice makes perfect. 1st off, you dont want to be looking at the hole when you putt. Look at the hole and acquire your line, then bring it back to your ball. The easiest thing to mess up, is to hit the ball with your putter at a slight angle so focus on keeping your arm straight and putter head flat to the ball when you make contact. When you hit the ball at an angle it doesn't add spin, it just sends it the direction you angled your putter. This is often why it feels like you hit it straight but it went a little left or right. Super super easy mistake to make. Practice makes perfect like I said and you just have to remind yourself to keep your wrist and arm straight everytime you walk up to your ball. Putter settings are all preference but majority of players, (myself included) play on 85% putter strength. That seems to be the sweet spot for most. I hope this helps! That's awesome that your 71 and playing games. I hope I make it there one day.

@@CloakedReaperGames many thanks brother. By the way, I meant to write “I didn’t see an email for you to ask these questions”. My bad. Your suggestions were spot on and I really appreciate you taking the time to respond in length. . I’m a disabled Vietnam vet and this VR has given me legs and mobility (in a way). I also appreciate the time you put into these videos. It’s a great service.

@@richie1027 I'm happy to help. No problem at all. I'm glad it all made sense. That's incredible. I can't thank you enough for your service. People these days don't understand the sacrifice you and many others made. Nor do they seem to understand that the reason they were born free and wake up free everyday was because of the sacrifices of yourself and others like you. I understand what you mean and it's a wonderful thing. There are things I can't do like drive because of epilepsy but with a wheel and pedals, VR can give me that feeling. I'm glad your still with us. The service of these videos is nothing compared to the service you provided me. Thank you, sir! 🫡

You working on any more guides like this? Would like to see Tourist Trap or some other DLC stuff, good work
@CloakedReaperGames6 ай бұрын
Thanks. Yeah more are coming. The broken collarbone is preventing a lot right now. Also to be honest, sometimes I'll get stubborn and not want to release a course without having gotten a hole in on all of the holes. Often that means it's a high level luck and skill based shot. So if I'm not lucky, I could spend an hour hitting that shot and not get it in. Come back later and do the same. Or I need to spend an hour finding a consistent hole in one for multiple holes when courses are new. It gets boring, my neck hurts from looking down for so long and it sucks to watch it hit the hole or land next to it 300 times but never go in. Like I said more are still coming but they take time and I need some healing still but I I working on Venice now. Tourist Trap will be a bigger likely because there aren't a lot of good shots to save multiple strokes on that course. You really need to just know the best way to go about each hole so if would be a course guide instead like the Bogey's Bonanza one I did. Sorry for the long message. Just thought I would be honest about why they come out so far apart lately.

@@CloakedReaperGames No worries, hope that collar bone gets better! Appreciate the reply. Tourist Trap I get lol the Front 9 is just awful in terms of HN1's or even getting a stroke lead in match play, literally best bet is lay up shots over and over. Looking forward to Venice too, but I get the perfectionist take on wanting the HN1's, and that course has a few tough ones to get consistently. Take your time, looking forward to em
