It's better than old AA though. But honestly Stand Up And Scream was always terrible IMO. Hated the emo singing and the electronic parts. Now Reckless and Relentless was great IMO. In fact one of the best improvements from debut to sophomore albums I've ever seen. In fact I'm gonna say it: Cowboy Danny >>> Emo Danny.

@@northwindkey agreed. Also when I ment it sounded similar to AA I meant the beginning of the song sounded like A Prophecy and The Final Episode. Also some parts remind me of AA.

@@fade_out-1971 Tbf, those songs were also kinda copying other bands before AA. In fact, I can't remember which song it was, but there's a point on SUAS where they straight up steal the main riff of "Unholy Confessions" by Avenged Sevenfold. The irony is A7X stole that riff from "Spirit Crusher" by Death, and Black Veil Brides would then steal it from AA for "Knives and Pens". Man I'm glad IX broke away from the typical Metalcore mold. The genre is just so stale, especially now that it's going through some weird autotune and rap/trap/diet nu metal phase.
