Two things I want to mention: 1. I love how Spencer had Psycho 1998 on the TV while doing an interview. Chelsea would be proud. 2. Because of the sponsor, it is now my headcanon that every kill count is just James talking to his therapist about different horror media, with Zoran and Chelsea being two different personalities.

Hey man, this was fantastic and thanks for the shout out. A while back Spencer kept texting me all these questions about stuff like the name of the camp and if I kept and cell phone photos from the making of the videos and would only say that is was “for a surprise.” This was a nice surprise. I’m glad you enjoyed them (and the reason the news said seven but you only counted six kills in TGIF was we had another scene where JD got killed but had to cut it for timing reasons but didn’t go back and edit the news blotter.)

Ice Nine Kills used to be a little too scene for me but when The Silver Scream came out they really came into their own commercially and artistically the whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it a cut above the rest

Tbh I’ve not been into INK too much (which is weird, considering I love metalcore), but I saw them during the Trinity of Terror tour with Motionless in White, and man INK’s set was SO awesome. The showmanship and set pieces for each song were so much fun, and I absolutely loved it. It’s awesome that James and Spencer are such good friends and we get a Kill Count of this album

I've been listening to Ice Nine Kills near 10 years. I remember the hour this album became available on Spotify as I was at work. I remember sorting signage behind some boxes in the warehouse it just being absolutely speechless. I don't think there's ever been an album, or even a song, that's cemented itself like this one, to the point of where I'm able to remember where and when I first heard it.

Honorable Mention to the prequel video 'Merry Axe-Mas' that came out before 'IT is the End',it has child Spencer playing a video game version of the first two 'Silent Night,Deadly Night' films mashed up into one,most of the kills are only in the game except when Santa Chapman comes out and kills Dream Child Spencer's parents until the video ends with Spencer's mom not dead. As soon as i heard that bit of the chorus of American Nightmare, i was interested and went to check out both albums. I was skeptical because i don't usually like music unless i can sing it, so screamo is automatically not my thing. BUT the fact that each song is a loving tribute to a horror movie... honestly, how vould i not love that?
