I love how metal bands have been taking an interest in orchestral renditions of existing songs they've composed. I really hope this trend continues, even if the bands themselves aren't directly responsible, as is the case with this song.

Isn't this in the background for the original song though?

@@ArttuAunola Correct, this is the actual song, with the band instruments and vocals removed.
@Flowmada2 жыл бұрын
I think what evilmonkeywithissues means is that metal bands are trending towards orchestral/instrumental and acoustic style renditions of their songs that slow it down - truly showcasing the genius that is often missed amongst the anger, rage, and frustration of the original composition. Ice Nine Kills, Falling in Reverse, Asking Alexandria, etc. have all started doing it more often in the past decade. I know metal/rock snobs that are extremely judgmental.. "I can't understand what they're even saying", "They're just shouting, that doesn't require any vocal skill", "That's just someone beating on drums as fast as they can". Yet, I have had them ask me what song I'm listening to when it starts playing in my car only to find out it's not some pop/country song, but a metal/rock singer. It's great to be able to fully exercise the compartmentalization of your emotional states between complete relaxation and rip your head off in the world we live in today - That's all.
