how come every forgets that Ryu too is a combo fighter not a power user ... everyone constantly makes ken a super combo fighter but both of them are nearly the same yet Ryu is technically the stronger of the 2...?

Ryu lost due to his orthodox, and strict, fighting form. Ken is way more liberal and free-style, and always ends his combos with a meterburn. Ryu used his meter less, and used lots of cheap combos, ending in 1 hit Tatsu, or DP. Fighting like that, Ryu should've, at least, not get hit, because Ken didn't misspend his meter, only confirmed to meterburn.

As a Ryu main, it's getting harder and harder to play him... In SF6, I still main him but I've been having a lot of fun with Lily, I feel more free!
