This is overhyped. It was all over the place and West sounded horrible on some of the instrumentals. The Stove God features were dope though. The album was bloated with throw away songs. I'm glad West tried something different with the trap beats but this album was mid at best.

One of the greatest MC's MFDOOM entire style is rapping off beat so that is definitely not the issue. West just didn't mesh with most of the instrumentals and the songs definitely didn't fit the theme of the album. Plus there were too many filler tracks making it harder to listen to the album in one sitting. Stove God definitely stole the show and saved the tracks he was featured on especially KITCHEN LIGHTS.

@@twinblade6facts !! He was on the trap beats too heavy on this one. I think it’s because of the type of features he had on the album (Jeezy , est gee , etc) , they wouldn’t have sound good on Griselda type beats so he went into their world and got lost in the sauce.
