Fun Facts: This the first actual short to feature Purple and King Orange, and also the first not to feature any of the main characters. It has been pointed out that Purple's scarf was the dull grey color of his elytra, while King Orange's scarf was the mustard-yellow color of both his crown and his deceased son Gold.

This one of my favorite shorts, as well as one of my favorite duos, as they aren't a replacement for what was lost but rather they're there to help heal the wound. This short says so much in under a minute: 1) They're bonding over a non-violent activity, which means purple isn't being pushed out of his comfort zone. 2) The twirl purple does shows that he's comfortable being himself around orange. 3) The fact orange copies him shows that he not only accepts but encourages purple. 4) When purple competes to see who can finish their cookie first, then celebrates, orange laughs and gives him the victory over a competition he didn't know was happening. He's proud of purple and happy with who he is. Purple might be like goldenrod was but orange is the father purple always needed.
