Your deadpan when you were listening to Plenty Son is sending me. Her production is better on Y2K than on her previous project. I find it's interring how the album is called Y2K but I feel like that theme is in none of the songs.

The production on Popa sounds very 2007-2009 to me. Sounded like something Soulja Boy or Lil B would rap on. Kinda off the mark of Y2K but at least there’s that 🤷🏾‍♀️

Y'all be giving this girl too much damn passes, even more disappointed bc i loved the first album. If cardi or megan, saweetie or SUM dropped some shit like this they would be clowned immensely, so many times i dead ass cringed when she went off beat, like wtf is she talking about. I regret listening to ts w airpods. If i had to rate this half assed excuse of a album, it's not going above a 2.

imo, she tore up popa, plenty sun, ttyl, and bb belt. i think there was some growth with the sound and her cadence/ flow. what needs to improve next is her lyricism. it’s okay, but it could be better also. i gotta give her her 8’s tho. the album was fire

I really don't think the album was THAT bad as people making it out to be. Plenty sun, phat butt, bb belt were DECENT songs. What I will say is the y2k theme was a wasted opportunity for a really interesting concept that would've brought more attention to the album. She could've drawn inspiration late 90s samples. Visuals, style and and cadence's to tie the theme together. Also unrelated but I hate when people be so critical of female rapers doing the bare minimum when male rappers been doing that since 2014 if you really wanna talk about it. I won't name names but it's plenty of rappers that been giving abc 123 "bars" and lackluster stage presence for years and yall been eating it up like then 5$ biggie meals from mcdonalds no shade

This album is the pure definition of brainrot music. All of these “bars” are pulled from other female rappers. The scary flow is carti/ken carson DOWN and disrespectful af that they aren’t even featured. Her vocab consists of 20 words. She only knows how to say thick rich and baddie. I’m so tired. Coming for Cardi b too lmfao her label wants her to fail. I’m convinced her label just wants to shelf her cause who approved this trash
