That's pretty amazing..that machine will tackle that ice build up like that...even better..that you could get up there and do the job and get things done so everyone can have electricity..if they where out...

Great video again and dedication it takes to service those sites. I know personally all too well about the cell sites and the calls you get as a Generator Technician for Verizon during and after the storms. You should see the access roads and "trails" in our New Hampshire cell sites , which most are at the tops of mountains. The equipment operators that clear the down trees are of a special sort of operator who drive their machines up mountain "trails" and not always roads to the top to clear the trees. My job is easy hauling diesel fuel and stuff on my ATV up the mountain. But operating an excavator at a 45 degree angle up hill takes some kind of balls. :P

Those ice storms are nasty. When I lived in southeast Kentucky, in the mountains, we got a lot of ice storms, and they were terrible to deal with, as all the power lines were brought in over the mountains, and were hard to access when trees took them out. Led to long power outages, and days clearing roads.

You would really be busy if you were out here in northeast California. We have snow thirty feet deep in some areas. I am so glad I am retired and not working outside anymore. We had snow and rain every day since Christmas and it stopped two days ago. Please stay safe and don't overdue it! God Bless!!

How would you compare the Sany 80 to the 95? I've watched a video where one guy said the 80 has more reach than the 95, but curious as to if you have a favorite between the 2 machines
@workplaytv Жыл бұрын
It has much more reach but not as stable
