We were catering to lots of apts and many night time installs to the local projects. Saw Daryl Gates lose his damn mind when a reporter asked if he had any plans when the dealers moved to 2nd floor. He was at a press conference on 70th & Main just after a bash. Gates yelled at the reporter that he just gave the dealers a new idea. Was circa '86-88. I worked on the westside on 54th and Western at a touch of class T-shirt graphics the first store that started printing shirts and hats. Next door to goodfred barber shop. Lived on 36th Normandie. In 1983 to 1991. It was Poppin then true story. Bat-a-ram. Got sued for tearing people houses up and didn't find anything. That's why It don't exist now.
